Bread Ingredients

Our bread contains the following ingredients:

Sorghum flour, buckwheat flour, brown rice flour, tapioca starch, psyllium husk, yeast, sea salt, water, sugar or honey, apple cider vinegar, (plus seeds if you have ordered multiseed - a mix of flax/pumpkin/sunflower/chia varying each order). Our bread is high in water content, and very easily digested. Psyllium husk is an excellent source of fibre for your gut.

Please note that our bread is made in a shared community kitchen that handles and processes common allergens. Therefore trace amounts of allergens is always possible in our bread products. Please reach out if you have questions.

Bread tips

  • Do not slice your bread if it is still warm when you receive it. Wait until it is cool before slicing.

  • Use a high quality bread knife to slice your bread.

  • Store your loaf in a cool place away from warmth and moisture.

  • Serran wrap, although not environmentally friendly, is the best way to store your bread to last longer. Wax wraps work but they do lock in moisture which can cause the bread to sweat and develop mould quickly. Simply wrapping in a tea towel or bread bag is a suitable alternative.

  • You can freeze your bread for up to 3 months for best results. Store it well wrapped to prevent freezer burn, and pre-slice it for your convenience.

  • We enjoy our bread best on day 1 and 2 freshly baked for sandwiches, and for toast after this!

  • Turn any leftover bread into bread crumbs or stuffing, or better yet, bread and butter pudding - a British classic!

We hope you enjoy being apart of our bread club!
