I grew up in Logan, Queensland, moved to the Gold Coast once I graduated from school, then at 17 dove headfirst into the unending universe that is coffee. Looking back on the nine years now of working in the coffee industry; I've had the pleasure of assisting a few cafes open and expand their operations, own and operate a coffee training business, collaborate and learn from industry leaders, roast coffee, host and attend all sorts of industry events and now I'm fortunate enough to join Steph, Flourish and the Flourish Team in their new chapter.

I was born and raised in Revelstoke, BC, surrounded by family, friends, and community. After a few years away, I found my way back home, where I met my now husband. We married within a year, and 30 years later we’ve raised four incredible children, two of whom still call Revy home.
Food has always been a passion of mine. Whether feeding a growing family on a tight budget, filling the pantry and freezer, or hosting large family gatherings, food has been an integral part of my day-to-day life.
Two of my children have been GF and DF for most of their lives. This was new territory back in the day, and out of desperation to keep my kids healthy, I made it my mandate to heal them by discovering recipes to support them when it was not easy or affordable.
When I’m not in the kitchen, I love hiking, XC-skiing, camping, fishing, and crocheting.
Hannah Carroll

Hi, I’m Hannah! I grew up in the UK, but since there’s not much snow there, I ended up in Revelstoke for the incredible mountain terrain. I’m a skier (though I’ve been enjoying snowboarding this winter too), and in summer, I love to hike, camp, swim, and bike.
At Flourish, you’ll find me front of house, serving, and also spending time in the kitchen baking. As someone with coeliac disease, I’m thrilled to be part of a cafe and bakery in the Revelstoke community that serves only gluten-free food that tastes amazing and fills your cup!
My go-to at Flourish would be the apple crumble slice or carrot cake, paired with a cappuccino or chai latte.

Born and raised in Toronto, my life journey has brought me to the beauty of the mountains, the splendour of Revelstoke, and the amazing team at Flourish Bakery.
In May 2025, my beautiful wife, Deborah, and I initiated the next phase of our adventure together and re-joined our son here in Revelstoke. We are so grateful to now call Revy home. We look forward to wonderful adventures here in Western Canada where we will simply flourish.
You can find me preparing and baking the daily goodies with my awesome team mates, sipping my morning house or guest drip, black of course; I like to savour the flavour of the bean.

After decades in Toronto, my husband and I were ready for a change—and to reunite with our son in Revelstoke. A summer visit sparked something: the mountains, the people, the pace—it just felt right. Saying goodbye to our home of 32 years was tough, but we embraced the unknown. Retirement felt like a beginning, not an end. That’s how Flourish came into our lives—a way to connect with the community and do something we love. Baking’s always been close to my heart, ever since I made my first (imperfect) pie at nine. I still love pie—and lemon tarts too.

Hey! I’m Sheylee! I grew up in Kelowna and love all things outdoors, but these days I mainly climb, backpack and snowboard. At Flourish, you’ll find me behind the espresso machine making your favourite drinks! Not sure what to get? My go to is an oat flat white with a cinnamon bun!
